Mauro Senise e Gilson Peranzzetta (foto) will celebrate 22 years of paterniship in 2012, and will record their next CD, its eighth, in the Church Nossa Senhora de Bonsucesso, on next December. The acoustic of the church, one of the best of Rio, makes one of the differences of this new project. The repertoire includes Peranzzetta’s compositions mixed with works of the contemporary catalanean composer Federic Mompou. This new CD of the duo will be released in the middle of next year by Biscoito Fino. On next October 20th, Mauro and Gilson will open the 4º Copa Fest doing a tribute to the music of Edu Lobo, who will make a special appearance. Also there will be special appearances by Zeca Assumpção, Rafael Barata and theQuarteto Bessler.
